Roller Coaster Ride

Well, I don't know what to think. I've been on a bit of a roller coaster ride the past few days. I ended up testing the next day after my last post and the test had a line again, but it wasn't as strong. Don't know if that was because I drank a ton of water and it was diluted?

Anyway, then I went a bought a different type of test. The kind that you can use 5-7 days early at any time of day. Well, absolutely nothing showed on that. So, I resigned myself to the fact that I must have gotten a false positive before.

Well, unfortunately, I subscribe to a bunch of message boards and everyone on them kept telling me "not to lose hope yet" and that "it was still early" and that I should "re-test in a couple of days" and "a line is a line" and "I thought you could only get false negatives, not false positives?" etc etc etc. Of course that just kept me thinking that I might be pregnant, but I had my doubts.

Then last night I was reading about how OPK's can double as HPT's and can sometimes be more sensitive. So, then I decide to take an OPK test. Sure enough there was a line there. It was darker than the first line I got on the HPT. So, now I'm thinkin'....maybe I am pregnant???

So, we come to today....as it stands now, I have done 7 HPTs and 3 OPKs...lol I never thought I would love to "pee on a stick" as much as I do...lol The HPTs aren't that great, so I can't say for sure if they are a positive. The OPKs on the other hand all have lines and the one that I took tonight is darker than the other two so far.

I guess I'll wait until tomorrow and see if it gets any darker again. I can't possibly be ovulating because my temps are still high. On the other hand, I don't think that the line is dark enough to be considered a positive pregnancy because they are usually darker than the control line if you are...Anyway, who knows at this point. At least I'm not scheduled to start my IVF drugs until the 26th. I still have time to figure out what the heck is going on with my body!
