It seems a bit contradictory that my RE has me on birth control pills for the first part of my IVF cycle...lol I mean really, I'm trying to get pregnant, not NOT trying to!...lol I guess if you think about it, it's called "birth CONTROL pill"...not "NO birth pill"...lol That was a word that she used over and over with me when explaining the process. "We want to be able to CONTROL what's going on"..."That way we have more CONTROL"..."Then we have the CONTROL to make sure that things go the way they are suppose to". Anyway, I just find it a bit funny.

I got my timeline in the mail the other day. I'll be starting "Lucrin" on May 25th. Then I have my first blood test on June 5th. Then I will start "Puregon" on June 8th. Then I have another blood test on June 12th and then 16th. Then we'll have to wait and see how my follicles are growing after that. Hopefully I'll be in hospital on June 19th to get my eggs retrieved. Still a bit of time to wait yet!
